What do I need?

An iPhone running iOS 26 and an account: Sign in with Apple or email and password. Memories live in your private account, so they survive a lost phone and show up on any iPhone you sign in to.

Can my partner add moments too?

Sign in with the same account on their iPhone and you both see and add to the same journal. There are no separate profiles, feeds or followers: one account, one family story.

How much does it cost?

Story is free with 20 MB of cloud storage. Need more room? Plus (5 GB) is $0.99 a month, Family (25 GB) is $2.99 a month and Max (100 GB) is $6.99 a month. Only the space changes; every feature is included on every plan.

Is it private?

Yes. Nothing is ever public. Only your account can open your memories, nothing is sold or used for ads, there are no analytics or trackers, and you can export everything or delete your account in one step.

When is it out?

Story 1.0 is in App Store review now (November 2026). The App Store button on this page goes live the moment it is approved.
